Here at the SAFE Family Services Center we are committed to our mission to strengthen and support all families and the community. Our community of SAFE reaches across the ages, cradle to grave, circumstances to circumstances, and across our geographic borders. We are steadfastly confident that strong families equal strong communities, a strong state and a strong nation. It begins with each of us! We believe in the capacity of each and every one of us to pursue and reach our goals and dreams. And we know that together we can make dreams a reality.

A WELCOME FROM THE BOARD PRESIDENT
Dear Reader:
When I think of Sylacauga, I think about how blessed we are to live in a community where God has blessed us with so many tools to support people in need. In particular, I think of the premier service provider in the community that has answered the call, “to whom much is given, much is required” (Luke 12:15). As a board member for more than 20-years, I am blessed to have been in the position to help navigate the success of Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement, better known as SAFE.
Though SAFE answers to the call of individuals, businesses and education in the community and surrounding area, its basic emphasis is on strengthening the family which extends from birth to death. Supporting SAFE in meeting its goals is a skilled workforce with an insatiable desire to provide their best each and every day they are on the job.
Further, the success of this blessing that has been provided to us extends to a very astute board that has bought into the core principles of SAFE. Recently, the board passed a resolution known as “A SAFE Investment Plan” that will help elevate the success of what we do for the next 50 years.
